A TRIBUTE TO MY MOM

I remember many things about my mom:

I remember when I wanted a teddy bear and she sat right down and made me a cowboy teddy bear.
I remember always being her favorite son ( I had 4 sisters and no brothers).
I remember when we were small and after putting us all to bed she would sing "Silent Night" as she walked down the stairs. We never interrupted her beautiful singing voice but when she was done we would ask for a drink of water.
I remember how she and dad made us feel like Jesus lived at our house.
I remember when she sang "He" in church. I loved to hear her sing.
She did miss church one Sunday morning because she was having me.
Whether taking care of five kids, or selling Tuperware, or at the laundry, or as a manager and later at corporate level at Goodwill Industries, She always worked hard.
She has always been beautiful and very intelligent and a good mom.
After I survived driving under a semi, she started wearing her seat belt, which saved her life when she rolled a car into a ditch. THANK YOU GOD.
I grieved a long time after mom and dad divorced, but I am thankful that the man she is now married to is a part of our family.
It is 1:30 in the morning as I write this but I just wanted you to know this mothers day.

MOM I LOVE YOU
